  39. The Sportster is not designed to work on a leased line. Our Courier
  40. line does support leased line activity. (It supports Synchronous V.25
  41. bis and the &L command.)

  43. However a work around would be to issue ATX3D to the originating modem
  44. and ATA to answering modem. The only problem is that you need to have
  45. a person on both ends to make the connection and to restore the
  46. connection if it is broke.
